Advent Calendar Day 14: Virgil Abloh x IKEA 'STILL LOADING' Rug

This past June, IKEA collaborated with leading designers and artists on a series of handmade wool rugs as part of its Art Event 2019 initiative. One of the collaborators was Virgil Abloh who designed a total of four distinct versions: KEEP OFF, BLUE, GREY and STILL LOADING. Following the unveiling, IKEA and Abloh launched a pop-up in Paris in September, offering fans an exclusive opportunity to pick up pieces from the limited-edition collaboration. The designer’s limited edition rugs will once again be launching in Tokyo exhibition this December 15. A release in Japan IKEA stores will commence on the following day, December 16.
In case you missed the first launch, we’re giving one lucky winner a chance to receive the STILL LOADING version of the handmade rug. The giveaway is a part of this year’s Advent Calendar 2018 installment through our art-dedicated Instagram handle, @HYPEBEASTArt, in partnership with @IKEAToday.
The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.
