Disney Teases Two Rides From Upcoming 'Star Wars' Theme Park
The “Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run” and “‘Star Wars’: Rise of the Resistance.”
Ahead of the official opening of its Star Wars theme park attraction, Disney recently released a behind-the-scenes look at the design of “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.” In the exclusive look, Disney broke down how closely its worked with Lucasfilm to create an authentic experience, and revealed two rides set for the attraction opening in 2019.
“Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run” lets guests join the crew of the Millenium Falcon in an adventure through the galaxy. Each seat on the ride that’s housed inside a replica of the famed cockpit found on Han Solo’s ship will designate a crew position that prompts a variety of exciting interactions.
“Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance” will represent the more recent saga of the franchise, as it depicts the fierce battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The ride invites guests to become Resistance force recruits that will infiltrate a First Order Star Destroyer and even go up against Kylo Ren.
