Nike Is Releasing a Y2K-Inspired Air Max Pack
Donning an Air Max 270 and Air Max 95.

The Y2K scare remains a baffling moment in history during which national media spelled out a scenario of total social collapse. With the beginning of an ever-digitalizing world, the Y2K bug within the coding of varying computerized systems was projected to wreak havoc on the advent of the year 2000. While the moment remains a rather laughable part of history, Nike has gone on to infuse the historical event into a unique two-pair Air Max pack that includes an Air Max 270 and Air Max 95.
The uniquely-themed pack comes geared with black uppers on both shoes, utilizing iridescent fabric that mimics the color buzz of Y2K-era television sets. The pack also utilizes a unique mixture of tonal blues and grays that mimic the steel and aluminum cases of 2000s-era tech.
Both shoes will retail for $160 USD and will hit Nike’s web store and select retailers on January 1st, 2019.
