Little Simz Gets Personal for "Gratitude" Video

Little Simz heads all the way out to Cape Town for her latest visual. Taking on her new single “Gratitude,” Simz decides to serves up a more personal, close-to-home presentation for the Hics collaboration. Simz tells Red Bull that she utilized the video-shoot for “Gratitude” as an “opportunity to reconnect” with a locale she felt “close” to. “I still have family there, but I’ve honestly not made the effort to reach out. It had to happen in my own time. My mum kept saying ‘You need to go, you need to go’. But I had to do it for myself,” she explained to Red Bull. Simz also chose to linkp with close, frequent collaborator and director Jeremy Cole for the filming of “Gratitude,” with Simz adding that Cole was really the only one she trusted during this moment in time.
