'Toy Story 4' Unveils First Teaser Trailer
A glimpse at the returning franchise.
Toy Story 4 was confirmed to be happening in 2015, with the release date revealed back in April and now the first teaser trailer for the film has been unveiled. The trailer, which showcases all the classic toys such as Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep all make a return, alongside some newer toys.
The film also has a confirmed synopsis, which sheds light on the plot:
Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.
Toy Story 4 will be directed by Josh Cooley, who last made Riley’s First Date and will be released in the U.S. on June 21, 2019.
In other news, Fox is releasing a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2, called Once Upon a Deadpool.
