Portland-based indie folk rock collective The Decembrists have officially launched the promotional campaign for their new album, tentatively titled The King Is Dead. As a first audible look at the project, the band now offers the melodic “Down By The Water” as a free download. Listen below and get your digital copy in exchange of your email address here. The King Is Dead is slated for a January 2011-release.
