UPDATE: A New ‘Dragon Ball Super’ Arc Has Been Announced
Following the events of the Tournament of Power.
UPDATE: A new trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly has surfaced. Check it out above.
As the release date for Dragon Ball Super: Broly draws closer, it has been revealed in a recent report that a new arc in the Dragon Ball Super manga is slated to begin early next year. A continuing story from the series’ final arc, the “Tournament of Power,” will arrive in an extra-large January issue of V-Jump, according to a new exhibit that went live in Japan.
The exhibit looks similar to the one that decorated New York Comic Con this year, but at this Tokyo Skytree event, an extra teaser was spotted for an upcoming special manga reveal. The exhibit promises the “long-awaited new chapter” in the series, according to translator and Dragon Ball aficionado Herms98.
Although Japanese entertainment division Shueisha has yet to confirm these reports, it’s been suspected a new chapter in the series would arrive following the upcoming Broly movie. Many speculate if the new arc will be a long form retelling of the Broly film, as such was done for the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F films in the Dragon Ball Super anime.

In other entertainment news, check out the balloon of Goku that’ll be at this year’s Thanksgiving Day parade.
Assuming there isn’t some mistake, this would mean that the new DBS manga chapter will both wrap up the ToP arc and begin a new arc. This might mean it’s extra long, especially since the V-Jump issue itself will be extra-large.
