Welcome to the latest edition of our beloved Weekly Sets-series which shows the most popular songs, vids and themes of our readers during the past seven days. Off we go with Swizz Beatz’ second installment of his Monster Monday-series titled “Bang, Bang!” featuring Pusha T and Pharrell Williams. It remains to be seen if this dope cut will appear on Pusha’s G.O.O.D. Music-debut. Speaking of which, Kanye combined the talents of his G.O.O.D. Music soldiers with the lyrical sharpness of J. Cole for “Looking For Trouble”. Mind you, that Mr. Cole wrote down his verse while riding a car the very same day the tune dropped. Travis Barker offered another audible glimpse at his promising solo effort Give The Drummer Some in the shape of the rock and banging track titled “Carry It” featuring famed guitarist Tom Morello and rejuvenated Wu-Tang Clan’s Rza and Raekwon. The audio back up for the end titles of Disney’s much anticipated Tron: Legacy has emerged. As everybody should know by now, the theme was crafted by French helmet duo Daft Punk and it sounds amazing so far. We have also heard Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson’s modern rendition of Leslie Gore’s timeless “It’s My Party” which will appear on the Quincy Jones-tribute project.

Further audio favorites among our readers contain Pharrell’s contribution to the soundtrack of Street Dreams titled “Hoppin’ Over Fences”, DJ Jazzy Jeff’s take on Mayer Hawthorne’s lusty “No Strings”, Young Buck and Lupe Fiasco’s collaboration “AM/FM”, the complete version of the superb Blu-assisted remix of Theophilus London’s “Live Of A Lover” and Janelle Monáe’s newest joint “Shape Of Things To Come”.

There have also been interesting music videos that found their way to the blogosphere last week. Big Sean and Chiddy Bang’s “Too Fake”, Bilal’s “Robots”, of Montreal’s “Famine Affair”, U-N-I’s latest visual “Windows”, LCD SOundsystem’s “Pow Pow”, Diddy’s grimy “Hello Good Morning”, vintage Bruce Springsteen on “The Promise” and Curren$y’s fast and furious “Michael Knight”.

Also make sure to check out Big K.R.I.T.’s splendid mixtape Before There Wuz Here (The Excavation). Enjoy in the audible recap below.
