Michael Jackson - Breaking News

As announced, Michael Jackson’s previously unheard “new” single “Breaking News” has surfaced on the internet. Mind you that the track was recorded back in 2007 and gives an adequate first look at the upcoming album Michael – due December 14th – which will feature a collection of songs that have been recorded in the course of the last decade and finished by various producers since his death. There is also some controversy surrounding this ambitious project since some members of the Jackson-clan claim that not all the tracks feature his vocals.

“Breaking News” opens with samples from news broadcasts which indicates Jackson’s constant fight with the media. The synth and drum-heavy tune, however, might not be satisfactory for every MJ-fan since the vocals on the track sound a little bit distorted. You be the judge.
