This Documentary Delves Into the Making of Eminem's Debut Album 'Infinite'
With never-before-seen footage from frequent collaborators, The Bass Brothers.
[gallery columns="3"]The 20th anniversary of Eminem’s debut album Infinite just passed, and to commemorate the event, Eminem’s longtime collaborators The Bass Brothers have released a mini-documentary called “Partners In Rhyme: The True Story of Infinite.” It includes never-before-seen footage of Eminem during the recording process and promotion tour.
The Bass Brothers also sat down with The Rolling Stone and spoke about the project, saying, “When I hear Eminem from 20 years ago, I can hear Eminem today. I can hear the nuances in his tone, and his rhythm was insane, and this is him starting out as a kid. We recognized that there was something there that was special. Obviously the world ended up agreeing with what we were feeling.” Aside from the mini-documentary, the brothers will be dropping a remixed version of the album where samples are replaced with live instruments.
