David Lynch Releases 'Thought Gang' Album With "A Real Indication" Music Video
Shot on Hi-8 in 1992 featuring ‘Twin Peaks’ composer Angelo Badalamenti.
Renowned director David Lynch has unveiled the music video for “A Real Indication,” the first visual to release from Thought Gang’s eponymous album, a collaborative jazz project created in the 1990s by Lynch and Twin Peaks composer Angelo Badalamenti.
The “A Real Indication” music video was directed and shot on Hi-8 in by Lynch in 1992. The over five-minutes-long visual stars Badalamenti, who begins the video with a mug shot scene and subsequently walks us down a city street while singing along to the track.
The Thought Gang LP, released via Sacred Bones Records, is a 12-track album featuring songs (including “A Real Indication”) that appeared on the Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me original soundtrack, as well as some that appeared in the Twin Peaks revival.
