adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Keeps Sporty Cool With FW18 Collection
Taking inspiration from re-purposing and re-contextualizing.
Frequent collaborators adidas Originals and Alex Wang have once again join forces on a football-inspired Fall/Winter 2018 collection. Marking their fourth team-up, the the latest capsule from the German giant and the American designer takes inspiration from re-purposing and re-contextualizing garments. The result is an array of pieces that have been spliced together from iconic elements from past seasons of the joint venture with fragments from adidas’ archive. Each item is then finished off with Three Stripes branding and an upside-down Trefoil.
The 18-piece unisex capsule includes both long- and short-sleeved tops, shorts, sweatpants, outerwear and a range of sneaker silhouettes including the Turnout Trainer, AW Bball, AW Skate Super, AW Puff Trainer, and AW Futureshell. The adidas Originals x Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2018 apparel items will be available starting this Wednesday, November 14 at select retailers, Alexander Wang flagship stores and alexanderwang.com. Apparel will unfortunately not be available at adidas.com in US or adidas flagships in the US. The footwear pieces will be available at select retailers, Alexander Wang and adidas flagship stores and both adidas.com and alexanderwang.com.
