The Roots Are Back in the Studio as New Album, "End Game," Is Announced

[gallery columns="3"]It’s been two years and counting since The Roots put out their last album …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin but an Instagram post on Monday from one of the outfit’s lynchpins, Questlove, has revealed that the band – who have been doubling up as the in-house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon – are back in the studio working on new material. With a working title of End Game, the new album will be the Philadelphians’ 17th record, and the looped video below suggests that, just two days in, it’s very much something to look forward to.
