Watch Linkin Park Honor Chester Bennington With Star-Studded Concert
An emotional display for the 18,000 people in attendance.
Just before the week’s end, Linkin Park members gathered with friends and fans at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles to honor former lead vocalist Chester Bennington, who died earlier this year at the age of 41. Band members Mike Shinoda, Rob Bourdon, Brad Delson, Dave Farrell and Joe Hahn were on stage for over three hours throughout the night as they played some of Linkin Park’s most memorable songs. In addition to this, the band welcomed special guests such as Blink-182, Avenged Sevenfold, and No Doubt to perform alongside them.
Towards the end of the show, those in attendance sang along with Shinoda for the track “In the End,” where they recited Bennington’s part in unison (fast forward to 2:29:10 in the video to watch that part). Watch the concert in its entirety above and be sure to take a look at the One More Light Fund in Memory of Chester Bennington, which will help support individuals and families coping with mental and emotional struggles.
