G-Worthy Honors West Coast Culture for "Ain't Trippin" Video
G Perico, Jay Worthy and Cardo’s supergroup got the hits.
Recently, west coast champions G Perico and Jay Worthy teamed up with superproducer Cardo to form a Los Angeles supergroup known as G-Worthy. Having just released their debut project as a group, the trio continues to support their collaborative effort with a new visual.
Promoting the second G-Worthy single “Ain’t Trippin,” the three artists revisit their self-titled G-Worthy project for a visual that pays tribute to the westside’s rich, vibrant street culture. For the new “Ain’t Trippin” vignette, there’s plenty of girls, cash and clean cars; this entire visual feels like it could be a behind-the-scenes look at the photoshoot for a California car magazine’s latest cover. When it comes to new-school rap, it just doesn’t get much smoother than this — you can almost hear the sound of activator exiting the spray bottle.
