Music moguls and Beats by Dre founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine have recently launched a partnership with the University of Southern California, one that will offer a unique bachelor’s degree that will help in developing the next generation of innovators. Having donated a combined $70 million USD to establish the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for the Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, this program plans to accept 25-30 new students each year with a focus on invention and conceptual thinking, drawing on the talents and influences of leaders from across various creative industries.
