DeathByRomy Shares Video for "No More"
Her album ‘Monsters’ is out now.
Los Angeles artist DeathByRomy is an exciting new talent that’s a combination of pop, goth and hip-hop. Her debut project Monsters was released last month plus featured names such as Yung Bans, Cuban Doll, and Lil B.
A standout off the 12-song LP is “No More,” a menacing Lindgren-produced record that tackles self-deprecation. The video, which is directed by Bil Brown, depicts DeathbyRomy in a hazy daze as she wanders around. DeathbyRomy explains the inspiration behind the visual:
The video/song is about being trapped inside your own head in a world where most people feel powerless, no one is truly powerless. The character is seemingly normal and beautiful on the outside yet feeling trapped and powerless in her head. The point of the video was for me to show people how I think we all feel when we are trapped inside our owns heads and not living enough. The video means a lot to me cause I want these issues and topics to be normalized more in todays music. My biggest hope is that the therapy of music can continue to empower others as it does for me.
