There’s no denying 2017 has been a breakout year for Portland rapper Aminé. This following the mega-success of “Caroline,” his biggest single to date which has amassed well over 180 million views on YouTUbe and counting. In addition, the rapper dropped his debut album Good For You back in July and not surprisingly, ended up charting on the Billboard 200, as well as the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
Meanwhile, this latest offering finds Aminé showcasing a more grittier side to the usual bright, upbeat persona — that’s just how it gotta be sometimes when you want to get your point across and demand some respect.
