adidas Introduces Major Design Changes for the UltraBOOST 5.0
An early look at the 2019 model.

adidas‘s flagship UltraBOOST model has evolved across four generations of design phases while maintaining mostly the same look. Though the popular sneaker has undergone several Primeknit and tech upgrades for improved wear, we’ve yet to see any major changes to its appearance — until now, on what’s reportedly the UltraBOOST 5.0 model.
An image of the UltraBOOST 5.0, courtesy of @sneakerprophet, shows a new upper design that replaces the Three Stripes caging system with a single-panel translucent TPU side panel. The heel clip is also updated with TPU construction that extends to the midsole, the Primeknit material sports a more high-contrast weave, and the UltraBOOST sole unit boasts a more prominent middle accent.
Official details are still sparse regarding the adidas UltraBOOST 5.0, but the model is rumored to release in February 2019 for a retail price of $180 USD. Let us know what you think of the new model in the comments below.
