Last summer a group of hardcore Harry Potter fans, organized under Tryangle Films, launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an original Harry Potter fan film. Helmed by two ambitious filmmakers, Gianmaria Pezzato and Stefano Prestia, the project initially got taken down by Warner Bros. when it started to pick up momentum. Soon after some negotiations, the project was allowed to proceed and here we are given the final film.
Uploaded to YouTube, the film comes in at 52-minutes and centers around newly-introduced Grisha McLaggen, a descendant of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry co-founder Godric Gryffindor. The story is then told in a series of flashbacks as Hogwarts students investigate the suspicious activities of Tom Riddle.
