Meet the Newest Member of TDE
The identity of “John Doe 2” has been unveiled.
It’s almost been a year since Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith teased two new signings. The first was Lance Skiiwalker and now, the second has been revealed. 29-year-old Inglewood-born singer SiR has officially been welcomed to the label. SiR released an EP titled HER last year, and has been co-signed by TDE star boy Kendrick Lamar. The crooner has also made appearances on Jay Rock’s 90059 and Isaiah Rashad’s The Sun’s Tirade.
SiR shares of his deal: “I’m proud and it’s an honor. The response has been crazy. It’s been amazing. I’m just excited that people love the music and are listening. I got so much more to share.” In celebration of his signing, the artist dropped a new track and video titled “W$ Boi.” His forthcoming project and TDE debut, HER TOO, will drop on February 10.
