Grimes and Taipei rapper Aristophanes reconnect for the new single “Humans Become Machines.” The pair of close collaborators previously linked up for songs such as Grimes’ Art Angels cut “Scream,” and Aristophanes’s profile has expanded considerably in recent months thanks to the 4AD polymath’s co-sign. Today’s track features Grimes behind the boards, while Aristophanes steps up to the mic to spit. “Humans Become Machines” is being released in support of Aristophanes’s upcoming mixtape project, which will arrive on February 24 via Big Picnic. Along with Grimes’s production, Aristophanes’s forthcoming tape will also feature contributions from Jam City, Kai Whiston and more.
