Tame Impala's Kevin Parker Unveils Remix of Bandmate Julien Barbagallo's "Longue la nuit"
Showcasing the “inner animal of a man out on the town.”

Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker has cooked up an official remix for a recent solo record from one of his bandmates. Looking to the work of Tame Impala drummer Julien Barbagallo, Parker visits the October 2016 album Grand chien for material for his latest release. Taking on LP cut “Longue la nuit,” Parker debuts a new rework via a visual that brings together man and primate to showcase the “inner animal of a man out on the town.”
“I was stoked when Kevin worked his magic on a remix,” explains Barbagallo. “I knew he would take the song to a level that gets the body grooving, because I can say one of Kev’s love in life is to make people dance. For a while there as he was working on it, we had some fun with some new lyrics, pure Australian class, however ‘sexy ladies tonight, Byron Bay to Bondi’ didn’t make the final cut.”
