Last week, Drake sent fans into a frenzy after he released his Scary Hours EP, which contained two new singles. The release of the extended play featured “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity,” which showcased the Canadian artist’s musical range as the tone behind both songs contrast one another. The Scary Hours release came after weeks of teasers that helped fuel the frenzy that ensued following the surprise drop.

To get a better idea of the hype surrounding Drake’s latest release, the single “God’s Plan” broke a Spotify record. The bouncy 6 God managed to break the streaming platform’s U.S. record for most streams in a single day. Clocking 4,326,679 streams on the day of release, Drizzy recently took to Instagram to celebrate the success of “God’s Plan,” which is now nearing almost 10 million streams overall. Drake also took the opportunity to congratulate LeBron James who cemented his place in basketball by reaching 30,000 career points.

Listen to Drake’s latest record-breaking track “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity” off of his Scary Hours EP. For more Drake news, the Canadian artist and OVO Chubbs recently opened Pick 6ix restaurant in Toronto.
