clothsurgeon Creates Exclusive Capsule for Michéle Lamy's Selfridges Pop-Up
More boxing-themed pieces.

Since the launch of Selfridges’ Lamyland pop-up was announced we’ve already seen the drop of an exclusive vintage collection from NOT / APPLICABLE, and the latest release from Michèle Lamy‘s boxing-themed installation sees a capsule of reworked robes and shorts from London’s clothsurgeon.
Various fabrics are used throughout the collection, with each one representing a different point in a boxer’s rise to fame. This journey begins with British-made grey marl cotton loopback jersey, which references the young fighter’s early days, before more success leads to a more extravagant marble printed satin and — finally — a luxury leather robe with black faux fur shorts.
To accompany the capsule, clothsurgeon has also worked with Dr. Martens on a limited edition set of bespoke boots. The black boots come with a waxed calf-hide upper with contrast stitching and a faux fur footbed. The most eye-catching elements of the shoe are its jagged sole and extra white-and-red “Lamyland” laces.
Take a look at the full collection above. All of the pieces are available exclusively from the Lamyland pop-up in London’s Selfridges, with apparel prices ranging from £400 GBP for the printed shorts to £1400 GBP for the leather robe (approx. $545 USD to $1910 USD).
