Michèle Lamy Takes Over Selfridges' Corner Shop for Boxing-Themed Pop-Up
“Lamyland” is set to run for three months.

After hosting A$AP Rocky’s AWGE Bodega last year, Selfridges has now announced a new pop-up project in its London flagship. The new project sees Michèle Lamy launch a boxing-themed installation in collaboration with New York’s Overthrow Boxing Club located in the store’s Corner Shop space, with the pop-up taking place in two parts during January and February 2018.
The first part of “Lamyland” will see Lamy work with collaborators including Stephen Jones, Nike and Rick Owens on an exclusive collection that will include everything from activewear and boxing equipment to jewellery, fragrance and art. Elsewhere, the pop-up also will feature special-edition drops from brands including Off-White™, sacai and Gareth Pugh during its three month run. The space is also set to include a small sparring ring.
Part two of Lamyland — which will begin in February — will see the space expand to include a fully-functioning boxing gym in Selfridges’ Ultralounge. This stage will also feature an open training schedule, as well as workshops and events hosted by Lamy and her friends and collaborators.
The Lamyland pop-up from Michèle Lamy and Selfridges will open at London store on January 4 and will run for three months. In other fashion news, take a look at Gosha Rubchinskiy’s Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook.
