Blood Brother Fall/Winter 2018 Is a Tribute to Lottery Winners

Regarded for its blend of tailored and street-ready garments, London’s Blood Brother returns with an array of tongue-in-cheek goods nodding to lottery winners and would-bes.

Encompassing a range of bold goods, the Fall/Winter 2018 collection offers up plenty of prints and patterns recalling the moneyed taste of the newly-wealthy. Plenty of opulent displays of wealth are subverted, with a faux-snakeskin trucker jacket and matching pants, snow tiger-print fur coat and plenty of rotund puffer pants, jackets and coats. No blue collar denim here — instead, Blood Brother opts for suiting in flamboyant reds and whites, offset by zippers and louche cuts.

An unmissable all-over print reads “MONEY BAGS,” referencing a lottery game, with matching pants and jackets bearing serial and lottery ticket numbers. Other prints include a luxe reinterpretation of the brand’s logo and the collection’s sobering “IT COULD BE YOU” slogan, both referencing the aspirational attitude of most entrants and the eventual fall from grace after too much spending.

Check out the entire collection above and stay tuned for the rest of our London Fashion Week: Mens Fall/Winter 2018 coverage.
