Versace Releases Sweatshirt with a Logo That Looks Identical to Vancouver Canucks Jersey
“Wear yours with anything and everything — from boyfriend-cut jeans to feminine skirts.”

A Twitter user recently took to the platform to point out the similarity between the graphics of Versace‘s newly released sweatshirt and the Vancouver Canucks’ “Flying Skate” logo from the ’80s and ’90s. The black sweater, launched by the Italian fashion house, features a yellow-rimmed white circle behind the word “Versace,” surrounded by black, white, and yellow lines that make the shape of a skate.
While a vintage Canucks sweater might cost you up to $200 USD online, the Versace sweater is listed at €860 euros (approximately $1015 USD) — for that price, you could purchase a half-season ticket package to watch the Canucks. Take a look at just how identical the two pieces are above and let us know your thoughts below.
Dear #Versace, if you’re gonna plagiarize the old #Canucks logo, you could’ve at least done a better job. It looks like the old logo’s been turned inside out & tilted on a different angle. At least with the ‘Nucks jerseys, you could get your name on them … for a lot cheaper. #NHL pic.twitter.com/ONbk43nxK3
