Lil Uzi Vert's 'Luv Is Rage 2' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200
The third-largest streaming debut of 2017 behind Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
Lil Uzi Vert‘s debut album, Luv Is Rage 2, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200. According to Nielson Music, his LP moved over 135,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending August 31. 28,000 of the 135,000 units are in traditional album sales. Most of the sales is due to mostly by SEA units — 100,000 units moved equals to 150.6 million on-demand audio streams of the tracks on the album.
Luv Is Rage 2’s streaming sum is the largest for an album in nearly four months, since Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. It is also the third-largest streaming debut of 2017, behind Drake’s More Life, with 257,000 SEA units and Lamar’s DAMN., with 227,000 SEA units. Check out the breakdown in detail via Billboard.
