Katharine Hamnett Launches "Cancel Brexit" Slogan T-shirt

The Kanye West collaborator reveals new capsule of politically charged tees.

After relaunching her menswear collection earlier this month, British designer — and Kanye West collaborator — Katharine Hamnett has returned to the item that her name is arguably most associated with. Politically-motivated slogan T-shirts have been a key feature of Hamnett’s career, with previous tees becoming hugely influential both for their messaging and their pop-culture appeal. Hamnett’s latest design sees her take on 2016’s divisive European Union referendum in Britain.

The T-shirt comes in either white or black and is emblazoned with the words “CANCEL BREXIT,” also quoting from key political figures regarding the decision. The tees — ethically produced in a wind-powered factory — are being released in order to fund a campaign for the UK to remain within the European Union, and are available now for £19 GBP ($26 USD) from Katharine Hamnett’s web store.

Check out some other Katharine Hamnett slogan designs, including a collaboration with NEIGHBORHOOD’s LUKER line from earlier this year and a merch collection for the release of T2: Trainspotting.
