Martin Shkreli Sells His Rare Wu-Tang Clan Album for $1 Million USD
Fetching 343 bids.

After placing the rare Once Upon a Time in Shaolin Wu-Tang Clan album he bought two years ago up for sale, Martin Shkreli has sold the album for $1,025,100 USD. Fetching a total of 343 bids, Shrekli bought the album for $2 million USD at an auction and plans to donate half of the sale proceeds despite losing money on the sale. The currently jailed “Pharmacy Bro” abruptly put the one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang album up for sale — citing he wanted to see if the world values music nearly as much as he does. Additionally, the sale of the album comes days after the managers for U-God, Method Man and Killa Sin disputed that the 31-track double CD is an authentic Wu-Tang album. If the album is indeed not authentic, Shkreli’s sale could turn out to be a great business move to recover part of his loses.
