John Legend & Netflix are Reportedly Making a Show Together
A search for the best underground hip hop and R&B talent.

It appears that R&B singer John Legend is teaming up with Netflix for a new original series. Dubbed Rhythm & Flow, the new show will be a music competition show focused entirely on hip hop, R&B, and Soul. Similar to The Voice and American Idol, the unscripted show will pit music hopefuls against one another to see who has what it takes to make it in the music industry. Reports indicate that Legend and his company Get Lifted Film Co. will be taking a producing roll in partnership with former NBC executive Jeff Gaspin and Primary Wave Entertainment.
With no official date on when we can expect to see Rhythm & Flow on our Netflix feeds, the report says the show is still in the production phase and still needs to have a few details finalized. We’ll keep you posted on any new information that comes our way. For now, see what else Netflix is up to with the trailer for Neo Yokio, starring Jaden Smith as well as comedians Desus Nice and The Kid Mero.
