Designer Hideaki Shikama offers a glimpse of Children of the Discordance‘s Spring/Summer 2018 collection this year in a lookbook. The collection revolves around a “stop and smell the roses” theme, a seasonal theme the brand has embraced for the very first time. Graphics of roses are displayed throughout the collection in the center or sleeve of most tees. It recalls the heat, how it’s absorbed through clothes and music during one’s middle school years.
Under the idealization of not wanting to wear or play the same songs as everyone else, the word “discordance” in the brand’s name reflects a collection that’s meant to protect its style. Look through the gallery and share your thoughts below.
