Emmy award-winning and Oscar-nominated director Armando Iannucci trains his lens on a satirical version of the historical events that followed Soviet dictator Josef Stalin’s death in 1953. In the power vacuum that follows, a core contingent of ministers tussle for control of the Communist leadership while simultaneously a fate in the gulags, or worse, death.

Starring Steve Buscemi, Rupert Friend, Jeffrey Tambor, Michael Palin, Paddy Considine, Andrea Riseborough, and Jason Isaacs, The Death of Stalin is scheduled to hit select cinemas on October 20.
