Earlier this year, we got our first look at Raf Simons’ 2017 fall/winter collection, as the Belgian-born designer’s eponymous label made its debut up on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Within the seasonal range were statement outerwear, heritage knits and a series of eccentric accessory options, namely bags. With that said, we now preview this themed tote bag iteration. Professing his undying love for everything New York, the concept carryall can be looked at as a direct reflection of his NYC-based devotion, and/or viewed with the current political climate in mind. Crafted from 100 percent cotton, the bag highlights the tagline “Any Way Out of This Nightmare?” directly on the frontside area. Retailing for $232 USD, look for this new Raf Simons design at such stockists as Antonioli and over at HBX.
Speaking of bags, Helmut Lang recently unveiled a $495 USD luxe trash bag.
