JAY-Z Commissions 40-Foot Jeff Koons Balloon Dog for '4:44' Tour
Bigger and better.

On Saturday, JAY-Z performed at the V Festival in the UK with the support of a Jeff Koons-designed balloon dog. Now Koons has revealed that JAY-Z has commissioned him to create a 40-foot balloon dog for his upcoming 4:44 tour. Jeff Koons confirmed on Instagram, “Thrilled to work with Jay-Z to create a 40-foot Balloon Dog for his festival tour.”
Inspired by Koons’ smaller, late-’90s Balloon Dog (Orange), which according to Architectural Digest sold for $58.4 million USD at Christie’s, making it the most expensive sale by a living artist ever, JAY-Z is sparing no expense to impress his fans who have bought a ticket to see him perform.
This week, JAY-Z also addressed the infamous fight with Solange and Kanye West in an interview with Tidal.
