The Minds Behind the 'Yakuza' Franchise Are Making a 'Fist of the North Star' Video Game
Bringing the classic anime back to life.
After giving the long awaited Yakuza 6: The Song of Life a release date, the group at SEGA in charge of the Yakuza franchise look to be spearheading an initiative for a PlayStation 4-exclusive Fist of the North Star game. Styled as a beat-em-up adventure game based on the early footage, the game will follow the protagonist Kenshiro has he fights his way through hoards of bad guys in order to find his missing fiancee. The game also keeps the original feel and art style of the original anime that made its debut all the way back in the 1980s.
