This One-Off Mercedes E-Class Will Get You Through Any Terrain in Style
Built as a hobby project.

One of the engineers behind Mercedes Benz‘s popular E-Class series has unveiled an E-Class All Terrain 4×4², that he has been working on as a hobby. The customized car, built by Jürgen Eberle, features body cladding, flared fenders and a portal axe setup that has been taken from Mercedes’ off-road cars. With these adaptations, the car has a long roof with roughly 16 inches of ground clearance, as well as 31-inch tires and a track that is eight inches wider than normal. The E-Class All Terrain 4×4² was built by Eberle as a one-off concept car and a passion project, but according to some reports, the reception to the car has led to Mercedes considering a wider run of production.
