Chinatown Market Drops a Yearbook-Inspired "Summer School" Lookbook
Paying homage to the forgotten meaning of summer.
Chinatown Market is back with its Summer 2017 capsule collection titled “Summer School.” This time, the Los Angeles-based streetwear imprint channels classic yearbook style photos reminiscent of “the vibe of what summer used to mean: hanging with your friends and enjoying life.” The photo set features quintessential American high school stereotypes, such as the goth, the weed-enthusiast, the computer science nerd, and the Patagonia-loving camp counselor. Each character profile is also detailed with a conventional yearbook quotation for added humor. Retailing between $5 USD and $80 USD, the 2017 “Summer School” collection is available online and at select Chinatown Market retailers.
