A$AP Rocky to Sign With Under Armour
The A$AP Mob leader will be the face of the brand’s lifestyle category.
Susquehanna analyst Sam Poser has just reported that rapper A$AP Rocky has just inked a deal with Under Armour. The move is an effort to not only help build Under Armour’s lifestyle brand but hopefully, Rocky’s face can help increase sales and stock prices. After disappointing Q1 earnings, Under Armour shares dropped 7 percent at Thursday’s close. The terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed by either Rocky or Under Armour and an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days.
A$AP Rocky is no stranger to clothing collaborations. Not only has he had clothing deals from both Guess and adidas, but Rocky has been seen around the world helping fellow Mob member A$AP Bari with his latest collection for VLONE. On top of all this, Rocky has been continuing to work hard on his musical endeavors, most notably with Tyler, the Creator on the track “Who Dat Boy” as well as teasing snippets from A$AP Mob’s upcoming project, The Cozy Tapes Vol. 2.
