Y-3 Adds Jungle Flair for Its 2018 Spring/Summer Collection
Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of black and white heat.

After presenting his own namesake line days ago, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas shows us its latest Y-3 garbs for 2018 spring/summer. In addition to the black and white utilitarian pieces that we’ve come to expect from the label, the new collection adds bold colors like blue and red into the mix alongside a jungle theme with tiger and cobra graphics and leafy imprints. A small selection of tops and bottoms in blue feature a wavy pattern of large leafs for a calming summer vibe while the aforementioned tiger and cobra graphics cover tees. Aside from the clothing, Y-3 also shows us what it has in store for footwear including slip-ons, low-top runners and hi-top sneakers.
The SUBEROU slip-on style trainer rests atop new Y-3 running tooling and has bold statement graphics on its tongue. For the BASHYO, stretch canvas, leather and rubber are mixed on a slim, mid-cut style. Y-3’s new SAIKOU highlights minimalist style with adidas BOOST cushioning, a flexible, sock-like Primeknit upper, and a suede toecap. Finally, the KUSARIS shows off an innovative side-facing lace system.
