Demna Gvasalia has made it very clear that Vetements isn’t doing runway shows anymore. Instead, the designer hosted a “NOSHOW” event for Paris Fashion Week Men’s in a multi-storey car park, which displayed a selection of photographs, taken by Demna himself, shot on the streets of Zurich where locals posed in signature Vetements garments.

While the event wasn’t a “show” itself, the attendees made it one. The fashion world’s VIP flexed their sartorial creativity in genderless outfits that played with proportions, textiles and a hybrid of streetwear and high fashion. Some attendees, such as Rei Kawakubo, chose to channel their cultural heritage, while others remained staunchly “off-duty” in their outfits.
