The UPRISE Exhibit Explores a Visual History of Protest and Resistance
The power of protest.
Set to make its debut at the Galerie Itinerrance in Paris, artist Tristan Eaton will present his UPRISE exhibition, which offers an expressive look into the long and storied history of protest and resistance. In this short video display, we see the artist and his team hard at work preparing murals for the upcoming installation, not to mention flash images and videos of some of the most telling demonstrations in history. The exhibition aims to serve as a reminder of strength in numbers, showcasing examples of how the powerless have risen to the top overthrowing those who sit in power. UPRISE is scheduled to make its debut on June 9.
