John Galliano's Home in Paris Has Been Robbed
One of the stolen items includes a valuable photo of Marilyn Monroe.
After being appointed as the creative director for Maison Margiela in 2014, John Galliano has mainly kept a low profile. However, that didn’t stop thieves from taking notice, as they broke into the designer’s home in Paris in the Marais district over the weekend. According to Le Parisen, one of the stolen items included the last photograph taken of Marilyn Monroe, which is reported to be worth around €50,000 euros ($56,400 USD). The incident took place around 3:25 a.m. Saturday while Galliano was allegedly in his room. One of his neighbors contacted the authorities after hearing noise from the apartment, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
