3.Paradis Goes to Heaven for Its Time-Travelling 2018 Spring/Summer Collection
Back to the future.
Following on from a collaboration with EJDER earlier this year, Montreal staple 3.Paradis has now unveiled its own Spring/Summer 2018 collection. Titled “On Ira Tous Au Paradis” — which translates, optimistically, as “We’ll all go to heaven” in the brand’s native French – the collection is designed as the conceptual successor to Fall/Winter 2017’s “Paradis Perdu” (“Paradise Lost”) release. Introducing new lines to the 3.Paradis range and continuing the brand’s mission to deconstruct traditional ideas of menswear, the collection features waterproof pieces emblazoned with a raindrop motif and a fully transformable bomber jacket — the “Mogus” — complete with a concealed, oversized parka between its lining.
Taking its cues from both past and present — combining a function-first agenda, nodding to a time when clothing was simply “a barrier between the skin and the environment,” with a sense of contemporary innovation — you can check out the collection in the images above.
