The 2017 Met Gala passed us by with a list of best-dressed celebrities coming out to celebrate this year’s exhibition: “Rei Kawakubo/COMME des GARÇONS: Art of the In-Between.” Supermodels, designers and entertainers were amongst the elite to be invited to one of the most prestigious fundraising galas in the fashion industry. So it comes as no surprise that culture pushing Pharrell Williams was in attendance decked out in a full COMME des GARÇONS ensemble. Taking the time to talk one-on-one with former American editor-at-large for Vogue magazine André Leon Talley, Williams discuss the brilliance of Rei Kawakubo, and what it takes to wear the eccentric label.
