Bryce Barnes Gets Political for Its "Coalition" Lookbook
Honoring Che Guevara, Thomas Sankara, Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale.
Bryce Barnes recently unveiled its new lookbook collection titled “Coalition,” which exemplifies political fortitude in a time when many may feel it is most needed. Set to commemorate key factional figures whom over the years received their fair share of public misrepresentation, the contemporary streetwear label chose to focus on a select group of individuals. Most notably, Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara, public health activist Thomas Sankara, not to mention Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale for their contributions in providing meal programs for under privileged youth. The collection itself gives way to printed T-shirts, polo tops and track pants with accessory items such as berets and bandanas used to compliment ensembles.
