With more and more hype around Blade Runner 2049 as the release date nears, many fans of the series are wondering if the new movie will be able to capture the same epic atmosphere that the original was able to. With director Denis Villeneuve taking charge of the creative process this time around, it remains to be seen if he can replicate what renowned director Ridley Scott was able to create in the original Blade Runner film that released in 1982. Fans were able to get a glimpse at what Villeneuve is capable of doing with the latest video from IMDb, which stitches clips from both movies atop one another. The video highlights the architecture and landscape of a futuristic Los Angeles, as well as lights and shadows on all of the character’s faces.
