As we enjoy the warmer weather, design teams are already gearing up for the next cold season. With this in mind, adidas Originals has revealed a new winterised take on its popular NMD_XR1 silhouette. The new model sports an extended bootie collar, longer heel pull tab and rope-style lacing system, while maintaining the original’s upper mesh construction, cage overlay, EVA plugs and BOOST midsole. So far, the new NMD design has surfaced in two colorways, “Grey Two” and “Scarlet,” which are expected to drop sometime in October.

Stay tuned for official release dates and prices and, in case you missed it, check out the new NMD XR1 “Oreo.”
