HORI Unveils a Slime-Shaped PS4 Controller
To commemorate the release of ‘Dragon Quest XI.’
Adding to its slime-shaped gaming accessories, peripheral developer HORI recently unveiled a slime-shaped PlayStation 4 controller to commemorate the release of Dragon Quest XI. The design, although impractical, is based on the mascot character of the Dragon Quest series and features the same controls on a traditional controller located on the underside. Charged via a micro USB cable, the controller comes with a pedestal and will be released alongside the latest chapter of Dragon Quest. Retailing at ¥9,980 JPY (approximately $90 USD), the slime-shaped PlayStation 4 controller will be available April 29 on HORI’s web shop.
